Market Leaders: successful year for Porsche Ukraine.

On the results of 2018 it was registered 9610 new vehicles in Ukraine of the brands, that imports "Porsche Ukraine". This number includes 6288 Volkswagen vehicles, 2966 Audi and 356 SEAT autos. During a period from January 1 till December 31, 2018 the number of new cars registered in Ukraine totaled 80710 units.

Moreover, in comparison with 2017 the sales of Volkswagen and Audi passenger vehicles increased to 7.8% and 3.7% respectively of the total market. Altogether, the market share of three brands, that imports Porsche Ukraine in 2018 was 11.9%. Thus, in 2018, the  sales of Volkswagen vehicles increased by 82 units (growth was 0.1%) as compared to 2017. The number of the registered Audi cars for the same period grew by 144 units (0.2% growth).

"People appreciate high quality and reliability of the cars imported by our company. This explains stability and positive dynamics of the new Volkswagen and Audi vehicles' sales. In its turn, it attests to Ukrainian customers' trust to these automobiles" - representatives of Porsche Ukraine explained.  

Besides, in 2018 it was registered 1096 Volkswagen commercial vehicles, which makes 11% of the market and is one of the best performances in Ukraine. The main buyers of these vehicles are legal entities and private entrepreneurs (70% of sales).

All in all, it should be noted that in 2018 Volkswagen vehicles set a new record in sales globally - having sold 10.83 million cars. This is a 0.9% increase in figures since 2017 and more than ever before in the history of the brand. In many markets, including South America, Europe, the United States and China, sales of new cars have risen, and in some cases the corresponding market shares have also increased.

Volkswagen vehicles entered TOP-3 Ukraine's most bought cars, while Audi became the indisputable leader in the premium segment.
