The Autumn Festival in SOS Children’s Villages Ukraine.

In the last decade of October, Volkswagen team visited SOS Children's Village in Brovary, where function 14 foster families and family-type children's homes, as well as one patronage caregiver's family. All in all, the town provides care to more than 100 orphans and children at risk of losing parental care. We celebrated "Autumn Festival" together with children. The close cooperation of the company Porsche Ukraine, official importer of Volkswagen, Volkswagen commercial vehicles, Audi and SEAT, and the SOS Children's Village Ukraine began in 2016, and since then Porsche Ukraine has been providing support and assistance to the children.  Inter alia, an open workshop for teenagers was organized on the premises of the Children's Village and a tractor for the territory clean-up was purchased. A joint celebration of various holidays has become a nice tradition. "Autumn festival" in Brovary SOS Village was held in a warm, truly family-like atmosphere. Initially, the children visited the gingerbread painting workshop, where they exercised in coloring pastries, many of which proved out to be real works of art.

After an exciting creative work children enjoyed a variety of activities, games, competitions and, of course, delicious sweet buffet. Afterwords, the kids, especially boys, were happy to explore Volkswagen cars. Would-be drivers confessed that having placed themselves on the driving seats they felt almost "formula 1" pilots. Recently the company Porsche Ukraine provides an opportunity for all the high-school students from Brovary SOS Village to attend driving lessons. Soon, provided they successfully passed their driving examinations, the young people will be able to get their driver's licenses.
